Welcome,
Thank you for visiting my website to learn more about my candidacy for the California State Assembly.
I have a foundation that took over twenty-five years to construct. I am well grounded in grass-roots organizing, and providing public social services to enhance the quality of life for others. My solid foundation enables me to support others, and empower them for a lifetime.
My mother, “Sweet Alice” has been called the “Miracle Worker of Watts” in the newspapers. She put me to work in the community when I was 13 years old teaching immigrants to learn English. I received my Masters Degree in specializing to help senior citizens.
I married and immigrant from West Africa. He was the captain of his country’s Olympic Boxing Team when they came to Los Angeles in 1984. My husband and I own a construction management company. We push our son and daughter to do well in school, and to have a collective conscious.
I still live in Watts on the street where my mother and my family run programs for children, seniors, and anyone who needs “a gift” from our hearts.
I want to represent you in the State Assembly because I want California to be a place where the gifts we’ve all been given are shared equally, respectfully, and generously.
To God be the glory!
